Housewife and mom Laura Halpern (Sarah Butler) is enjoying a humdrum life with her wealthy workaholic husband Greg (Peter Benson) and their young son Jamie (Arlo Hadju) when one day while hanging out at the marina by their boat, Jamie falls into the water and would have drowned, if not for the heroic rescue by a man named Elliot Graverston (Marcus Rosner). The family invites Elliot over for dinner as a thank you and the jack-of-all-trades offers to help renovate their kitchen.
