A former tennis pro now working as a coach for tourists at an unexciting hotel resort in the Cayman Islands, Tom (Sam Riley) spends most of his empty existence boozing it up and sleeping with random women while longing for a life that could have been. Then sophisticated British couple Anne (Stacy Martin) and Dave (Jack Farthing) arrive at the hotel and he starts giving their young son Anton (Dylan Torrell) tennis lessons. He ends up spending more time with them, showing them around the island and seems to forge a connection with Anne, who also had big dreams once, only for her it was an acting career. But then everything goes awry when Dave suddenly disappears and Anne and Tom become the prime suspects. Agnes Lindström Bolmgren pops up in a bikini top as a surfer who gets questioned about the time she spent with Dave in a club right before he vanished.
