Sexy: Julie Johnson 2001 Sexy Scenes

A New Jersey housewife sets her sights on greener pastures in the hit Sundance indie drama Julie Johnson (2001). Bob Gosse’s sophomore feature stars Lili Taylor as the titular heroine, for whom the only spark of excitement in a dull existence are her occasional binges on science magazines and public-television documentaries. On a whim, Julie decides to enroll in an adult-education course with her best friend, Claire (Courtney Love), and it’s here that she makes a series of staggering intellectual breakthroughs. As Julie wrestles with fractals and number theory, her friend admits a same-sex crush, and before long our heroine’s swapping spit and solving mathematical mysteries concomitantly. The premise is a bit of a stretch, but any excuse to watch Taylor and Love lez it up is welcome indeed.
