Only Jesus Franco can take lesbian spies and strippers and exotic locales and forgo any need for a real plot. Plot? Franco doesn’t need no stinkin’ plot! His Kiss Me Monster (1969) stands on its own thanks to great characters and their greater nudity, thanks to Ana Casares and Janine Reynaud. The movie is also a bit of a spoof, tickling your funny bone as well as your boner. Add to that one of the best titles ever seen on a marquee and you have a no-lose situation.
