A recently divorced writer channels his sadness into his work in L'amour dure trois ans (2012). Marc Marronier (Gaspard Proust) is still mourning the breakup of his marriage to Anne (Elisa Sednaoui) even though the book he wrote about the experience has become a bestseller. Things start to look up when he meets gorgeous girl Alice (Louise Bourgoin) at his grandmother’s funeral. She is also married to Marc’s cousin, but he’s not going to let that small detail hold him back.
