A wealthy man keeps his girlfriend captive in their apartment to ensure her fidelity in the French drama La Captive (2000). Simon (Stanislas Merhar) is handsome and rich, but also obsessed with his beautiful live-in lover Ariane (Sylvie Testud). Convinced that Ariane is leading a double life as a lesbian, he keeps her as his willing captive.
