La Conquete de la Peur (1991) was directed by noted madman Werner Herzog, who once claimed to hypnotize not only his cast but the opening-night audience as well. Obsessed with man versus nature, the plot of the flick centers on two climbers' quest to conquer Cerro Torre, a 3,000-meter-high mountain in southern Patagonia, Argentina. But the peaks of real interest here belong to Mathilda May--and everybody wants to mount her May pole. One character gets to climb onboard her luscious body, which she shares briefly in a bedroom scene. That's such a memorable conquest, the guy should have planted a flag in her round rump.
