La Guerre des polices (1979) or, in English, The Police War, is a slam-bang action blast from France. It stars Claude Brasseur as Commissaire Jacques Fush and Claude Rich as Commissaire Ballestrat. They're law-enforcement officers faced with violence like they've never seen in the history of their long, tough careers. The only way to fight fire, they decide, is with an all-out inferno.
