The thoroughly disturbing and depressing Spanish film La madre muerta (1993) concerns a woman who is gunned down in a senseless act of violence, and her daughter is shot as well, but not killed. The daughter, played by Ana Alvarez, is left mute by the accident and must be cared for. The film's only nudity comes in a not particularly sexy scene where Ana is topless in a tub being bathed by a nurse!
