An affluent businessman tries desperately to recapture his youth in the mordant French comedy Tête dans le sac (1984). Guy Marchand plays the aging Casanova whose wealth has bought him a fancy car, a plush pad, and a gold-digging girlfriend. What he really desires, however, is the alluring Eva (Fanny Bastien)--a twenty-two-year-old who could pass as his daughter. Director Gérard Lauzier delights in treating his protagonist to creative humiliations, but he also buoys the caustic plot with artful shots of the ravishing Bastien (and her bombshell co-star Marisa Berenson) in the buff.
