Paramount continues to add to its collection of Western-themed television shows with this drama based on the first two books in the trilogy by Sidney Thompson. It tells the story of how the titular lawman (David Oyelowo) went from being a slave, to being dragged into the Civil War by his master (Shea Whigham), escaping and living among Native Americans, to then becoming the very first black Deputy U.S. Marshal. Along the way, he marries Lauren E. Banks’ Jennie, who makes her nude debut with some brief flashes of nip! We’re holding out hope for some future episodes showing her booty.
