Le Choc (1982), a thriller involving a professional hit man, played by famed French ladies’ man Alain Delon, begins with an assassination gone wrong. Feeling remorse for having killed the wrong man, Delon resolves to retire from the killing business. His boss, however, refuses to let him and continually ups the stakes. He eventually ends up at a turkey farm with Catherine Deneuve, the two hit it off, and when her husband is killed by a rival association, they head for the hills together.
