Nude: Mira 1971 Nude Scenes

The sleepy Dutch film industry got a shot in the arm from Mira (1971), a drama that inaugurated a new wave of brashly sexy features from the country. Set in the early years of the twentieth century, Fons Rademakers’s film stars Willeke van Ammelrooy as a liberated young woman whose mores don’t please the inhabitants of her provincial backwater. Furious over her treatment, the young woman lashes out by boffing anybody who will have her, including the engineer on a controversial new building project and her father’s own brother. The locals may not like it, but the lucky recipients of Mira’s lithe, nimble body are sitting quite pretty. Ammelrooy lights up the screen in multiple scenes of carnal embrace.
