The short film Naked in the 21st Century (2004) is long on thrills. It's not hard to figure out why, with a title as provocative as the one it has. It gets even better. The story is an exposé of the nudist movement, which is almost an oxymoron, as what are nudists if not exposed? Among the unclothed are B-movie star Athena Demos, who plays Amber in The Naked Place, an as-of-yet unreleased feature on naturalists, of which Naked in the 21st Century is supposedly a behind-the-scenes look, with a lot of naked behinds. Playing themselves are nude correspondent Christine Nguyen, actress Jillian Roppolo, and Maryn Ryan topless in a sauna, which is classic in so many ways. Now, why don't we all get buck-naked and . . . ?
