Nothing to Lose (1997) is a mismatched buddy comedy in which cuckolded, downtrodden white guy Nick Beam (Tim Robbins) gets carjacked by fast-talking black guy Terrance Paul Davidson (Martin Lawrence). Only he doesn't. Figuring he's got, as the title implies, nothing to lose, Nick ends up taking Terrance hostage, and the two embark on the adventure of a lifetime. In time, the pair concocts a plot to rob Nick's boss. Rebecca Gayheart provides sex appeal to go along with all the slapstick.
