Trauma affects all of us differently. In Olivia (1981), alternately titled Prozzie, slender blonde housewife Suzanna Love copes with the childhood murder of her mother by leading a double life as a prostitute. At first glance, selling her sexual favors may not seem like the road to past-trauma resolution, but the therapeutic aspect of the process occurs when the recovering hooker kills her johns at the climax of each trick. Several people are not who they seem to be in Olivia, but the visuals as well as the themes are definitely sensationalistic and adults only.
