A live-action version of the long-running anime, this Netflix series follows the good-natured, straw hat-wearing Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) as he and his pirate cohorts set off to recover a hidden treasure known as the One Piece. With a swordsman named Zoro (Mackenyu) and a thief named Nami (Emily Rudd), Luffy searches for a map to the dangerous waters known as the Grand Line so he can become king of the pirates. Along with his ability to stretch like rubber from eating the strange Devil Fruit as a child, his only asset is his friendliness which leads to chef Sanji (Taz Skylar) and engineer Usopp (Jacob Romero) joining his crew. But other less friendly folk are trying to stop them, including the Marines and a group of eccentric assassins.
