The romantic comedy Overnight Delivery (1998) is pretty formulaic even for this genre. Paul Rudd plays a sap who thinks his girlfriend has cheated on him. Of course after he sends a relationship-breaking letter he realizes his mistake. With the help of a sassy stripper played by Reese Witherspoon, he travels down south to intercept the missive and make good with his gal. You’ve seen it a thousand times before, but at least this time it’s got Reese on stage and strutting her superior stuff. The lusty Louisiana lady is worth sitting through a tear-jerker just to get a chance to jerk to her tear-shaped breasts (even if they’re not exposed in the flesh here).
