Five years after the release of Charli XCX’s fourth studio album, 2020’s How I’m Feeling Now (conceived and produced entirely during the Covid-19 lockdown), the single “Party 4 U” finally gets a video at the same time the album is back out in a limited-edition, clear glitter vinyl. Directed by Mitch Ryan and Imogen Strauss (the latter of whom has directed four other Charli XCX vids), the camera first captures Charli getting ready to leave a house that's been decorated for the titular shindig. Once out the door, the singer mentions taking her clothes off - and then does it as she’s walking outside barefoot, though she only strips off he dress and leaves her bra and panties in place. Still Charli’s in her skivvies for just about the whole second half of the video. Now that’s Mr. Skin’s kind of party!
