Plum Blossom (2000) is the tale of two Korean men, Se-in and Jay-ho, and their developing attitudes toward love and sex as they enter adulthood. Jay-ho starts out as a shy boy but winds up emotionally jaded, using women for sex. Se-in falls for an older woman and is unwilling to accept the fact that he cannot realistically pursue a relationship with her. The men’s relationships show two very different sides of the male psyche. Du-na Bae and Ji-hye Yun star as love interests and show off their plum blossoms in three steamy sex scenes apiece.
