It’s Moscow in the 1970s and the Cold War is in full swing. While their spy husbands are out doing doing spy stuff like having secret meetings and dangerous car chases, American Embassy secretary Beatrice Grant (Emilia Clark) and Twila Hasbeck (Haley Lu Richardson) meet in a local bazaar where Bea is getting scammed out of some eggs despite being fluent in Russian. The ladies cross paths again at an Embassy mixer, where the CIA’s Moscow head Dane Walter (Adrian Lester) has the displeasure of informing them that both their husbands were killed in a small plane crash that left no survivors. After being sent home to the US, Bea and Twila decide the only way to get answers about what really went down with their hubbies is to go back to Moscow, so they propose to Walter that they become spies themselves because, as women, no one would suspect them. Bea’s fluency in Russian and Twila’s fearlessness seem to make them good candidates, so Walter runs the idea by CIA head George H. W. Bush (Patrick Fabian), who hesitantly agrees. These babes may be considered Persons of No Interest, but not to us, especially when Emilia’s banged by a KGB agent and Haley gets the lez out with a lingerie-clad Lili Walters. We spy a bit of skin on Franciska Törőcsik and poking nips on Vic Michaelis, but none of it compares to the bare breasts of Sophia Shkliaruk, who was recorded having sex with Louis Boyer.
