Weary of his car-salesman position, frustrated with his emotionally troubled wife, and exasperated by his punk-rock teen daughter, the protagonist of Poppitz (2002) decides the time’s ripe for a vacation. For that reason, Gerry Schartl (Roland Düringer) hits the road for an adventure that finds him battling cockroaches, lost luggage, and obnoxious tourists. Fortunately for Schartl, when his wandering days are over, he can return home for some good lovin’ with his wife, Lena (Maria Bäumer). The German beauty shows why she’s worth waiting around for in a delectable nude tanning scene.
