Robert Oppel is Rapturious (2007), a hip-hop up-and-comer whose days are full of interviews, aggressive agents, and, most importantly, drugs, drugs, drugs—his habit's so bad that his career might be on the line. When his pushy pusher, Hoya Guerra, hands him a new high reputed to be the best there is, Rob can't resist the temptation to diversify. Instead of bouncing off the walls, however, he finds himself experiencing wiggy visions and demon-haunted dreams.
