Ready to Rumble (2000) is a sports spoof about two slacker wrestling fans, played by David Arquette and Scott Caan, who are devastated by the ousting of their favorite character by an unscrupulous promoter. That wrestler is played convincingly by Oliver Platt, but the other wrestlers in the movie are far more convincing, likely because they’re all real wrestlers, which gives this movie a bit of a documentary feel. Martin Landau has a nice bit as a retired wrestler, now teacher, but you’ll stay for Rose McGowan. Even when she’s not naked, this dark-haired beauty is worth gawking. She shows off some cleavage from her famous rack as the head Nitro Girl.
