in the wake of Amer (2009), Belgium continues its bid to become the new home of giallo with Red Nights (2009). Unlike those classic thrillers by Argento & Co., the killer here isn't a guy in a raincoat and scarf but an ancient box containing a poison that some unsavory characters will do some very bad things to obtain. But in the true giallo spirit, it does feature buckets of blood, candy-colored cinematography, and (most importantly for our purposes) copious female nudity. A mere five minutes in, Asian skinsation Kotone Amamiya goes full frontal for a very bush-y tea party, and an hour and five minutes in Carole Brana bares boobs as she's strapped to a freaky torture device. Good Nights, and wet dreams!
