Set in gloomy Glasgow, Red Road (2006) finds Dickie getting paid to observe video surveillance of a single block along Red Road to keep the residents safe from whatever evils might lurk in this part of sexy, seductive Scotland. When she observes an ex-con named Clyde (Tony Curran) prowling her electronic beat, Kate decides to go on the hunt. But why? What sort of sordid Scottish past did they share? Where's all this going? Oh, you have an idea. And it ain't the golf course.
