The doper lifestyle has many drawbacks, primary among them being the high rate of turnover. The recreational drug-fiend antihero of Remedy (2005) doesn’t really have a problem with getting high. His dilemma arrives when he comes down and realizes that he has been witness to the murder of his best friend. Too bad he was so intoxicated when the killing went down that he has no coherent version of events with which to appease the impatient homicide dicks assigned to the case. The cops are eager to close the file, and who better to take the rap than a junkie scumbag nailed to the scene of the crime? Somebody is in dire need of an intervention.
