A sullen teenager reluctantly bonds with her elderly grandfather in Restless (2009). 17-year-old Claire (Pauline Étienne) moves in with her grumpy grandfather Maurice (Michael Piccoli) after the death of her parents; she's not in school, so she spends her time with her swim coach and her friend Thomas (Clément Roussier), who is hopelessly in love with her. The young athlete and the fragile old man seem to have nothing in common, but after Muarice falls and is hospitalized, the injury brings the two closer together. You'll be feeling jumpy in your jeans when you get an eyeful of Pauline full-frontally inspecting her naked body in a locker room mirror. Is that what they call Restless Peg-leg Syndrome?
