When things get serious, he drops her out of nowhere. Desperate to understand why her guy flew the coop, Jane interprets male-female relations by observing the humping habits of wild animals. Her findings earn her a column and make her a sensation for single women in the city. When Jane uses her randy roommate and co-worker Eddie (Hugh Jackman) as fodder for her findings, she finally gets over the one that got away, only to fall for the one she never saw coming in the first place.
