Sudsee, eigene Insel (1999), or Our Island in the South Pacific, is a German comedy about a family who is planning a trip to the South Pacific for Christmas. Unfortunately, their plans fall apart, but they've already told everyone in town and their entire extended family that they were going on this trip, so rather than just admit defeat, they decide to spend the entire holiday in their basement in hopes that no one will find out.
