Controversial Polish director Andrzej Zulawski goes straight for the jugular with Chamanka (1996), a notoriously noxious brew of sex, religion, and the occult. Boguslaw Linda stars as a famed anthropologist whose obsession with an ancient shaman leads him into the arms of a violent nymphomaniac.
