It’s Yellowstone meets Succession, set on a sprawling cattle station in Australia owned by the powerful Lawson family. Patriarch Colin Lawson (Robert Taylor) had intended for his son Daniel (Jake Ryan) to take over running Marianne Station, but Daniel goes missing and is eventually found dead, supposedly mauled by dingoes. Older brother Graham (Michael Dorman) should be the rightful heir, but he’s a longtime alcoholic married to Emily (Anna Torv), who comes from a family of known cattle thieves and Colin doesn’t trust either of them. The couple has two kids, Susie (Philippa Northeast) and the formerly estranged Marshall (Sam Corlett), who could be contenders but the family is facing complications from external forces like rival cattle baron Campbell Miller (Jay Ryan) and mining magnate Sandra Kirby (Sara Wiseman), both of whom have designs on the Lawson land. It’s a drama with many layers… and speaking of layers, the only one who comes close to losing any is Kylah Day as Sharnie, a small-time thief pal-ing around with Marshall. She wears a skimpy tank and undies in bed with fellow crook Rich (Sam Delich), and her tan, slender body will cause a power struggle in your pants territory!
