In the world of this French-language sc-fi horror, a peculiar thing is happening across Europe. People have spontaneously begun to slowly turn into strange human-animal hybrids. The nations’ governments have started detaining these mutations, one of those headed into state care being Lana, wife to Francois (Romain Duris) and mother to Émile (Paul Kircher), after transforming into a bear. Francois decides to get a new job and relocate with Emile to a cabin in the woods, but once there they learn that a mutant transport overturned in the area and now the beastly prisoners, including Francois’s wife, are roaming free. As Francois decides to conduct his own search for he (eventually getting help from a police officer played by Adèle Exarchopoulos), Émile undergoes some startling changes to his body that he desperately tries to hide from everyone, but especially Billie Blain, whose bra and underwear-clad bod could bring out the animal in us all!
