The Avengers (1998) is a big-budget Hollywood remake of the British cult TV classic of the same name. Ralph Fiennes and Uma Thurman star as her majesty’s secret agents called in to stop the evil Sir August de Wynter from holding the earth ransom by controlling its weather. Uma Thurman was brought in to wear the skintight catsuit of Emma Peel, which was admirably filled out on TV by sexy sixties siren Diana Rigg. As with most summer blockbusters, boobs, bush, and buttocks are kept under the big-budget costuming, but if you’re a real Uma-phile, you can get your jollies watching her parade around in that outfit.
