The Bear and the Doll (1971) is an improbable story of a cellist who lives a simple and quiet life until his car collides with Brigitte Bardot’s Rolls Royce. Seems that the French sexpot is a wealthy woman used to getting what she wants. But when the musician is more interested in the curves of his instrument than he is in Brigitte’s hourglass body, she decides to seduce him. The improbable part comes in when Brigitte fails to make the guy grow to like her, if you know what we mean. Who could resist the Bardot body even in a comedy? There’s nothing funny about that!
