Life's a real bitch for a pack of college kids who head to a remote island for the weekend and end up in deep dog doo in Wes Craven's evil-pooch thriller The Breed (2006). Michelle Rodriguez is the top dog in the cast, playing a champion climber who is the object of affection for a pair of rival brothers, vet-in-training Eric Lively and bad apple Oliver Hudson. Along with Taryn Manning and Hill Harper, the three rent a cabin and take in a pup, expecting to spend some time living it up in the middle of nowhere. But things get hairy when the cuddly canine's rabid relatives show up with a taste for blood, looking to turn the vacationers into chew toys. How will they avoid becoming doggie chow for this vicious pack of genetically engineered sons of bitches?
