The Danish film The Celebration was something of a minor sensation when it received a limited American theatrical release late in 1998. The film from writer/director Thomas Vinterberg involves a family reuniting for their father’s 60th birthday, at which old wounds are opened and old rivalries kick up again. It’s also got a great bathtub topless scene from the lovely Trine Dyrholm!
