Brandon Lee was tragically killed during the filming of The Crow (1994), so director Tim Pope has to start from scratch with the hit sequel The Crow: City of Angels (1996). Vincent Perez is brave enough to step into Lee’s boots as new hero Ashe Corven, a murder victim who’s magically resuscitated to enact revenge on the scoundrels who offed him. The ensemble cast is heavy on A-list rockers, including Iggy Pop and Ian Dury, but it’s Holley Chant who leaves the most lasting impression with her erotic goth striptease.
