The Darkest Hour, also known as An Hour Before the Dawn, is a 2021 series set in post-WWII Russia that takes its cues from film noir, with a 21st century twist. Beloved Russian actor Konstantin Khabenskiy stars as a detective who works with an Untouchables-esque squad of bruisers that shake down criminals and ride to the rescue of those in need in the uncertain and often bleak post war period.
