A new series adaptation of the classic 1971 novel, this modern take on Frederick Forsyth’s cat-and-mouse political thriller stars Eddie Redmayne as the elusive high-end assassin and master of disguise known only as The Jackal, who we first see effortlessly taking out a long-range target in Germany. Next, we learn there’s a tech entrepreneur poised to expose a bunch of dirty corporate secrets and The Jackal has been hired by some billionaires to eliminate him. But it turns out an MI6 agent named Bianca Pullman (Lashana Lynch) is hot on his trail, determined to uncover his true identity and bring him to justice. His one weakness might just be Úrsula Corbero's Nuria, who we see straddling Eddie in a white nightgown that does little to hide her slender physique when the sun shines through it.
