A feisty fashion designer, played by NYPD Blue beauty Kim Delaney, decides to pick up a lonesome hitchhiker (Miles O’Keefe) on her way home from a business trip in The Drifter (1988). After shedding her threads and giving him unlimited run of her catwalk, she drops him, hoping to write the night off as a simple adventure in skin. Suddenly that forgettable one-nighter becomes a faux pas of fright when the drifter she diddled starts appearing at every turn.
