Life is tough enough on a young adult without being stranded on a desert island, but remote accessibility is the least of the worries confronting the isolated crew of The Flesh Eaters (1964). A boozing movie diva, her long-suffering factotum, and the pilot of the helicopter that landed them on a speck of dirt in a world of water show little enough kindness to one another after their hard landing. Tensions mount with each quarter hour that elapses without the juicer getting a drink. Civility is abandoned altogether once the castaways discover that a renegade Nazi scientist has stocked the surrounding waters with voracious people-eating creatures. If the mainland is ever reached again, will everybody just be nice and get along?
