As you surely remember from school, Daniel Defoe’s 18th century tale, and the 20th century adaptation The Fortunes and Misfortunes of Moll Flanders (1996), follows the highs and lows of beautiful Moll Flanders. Born into poverty (they hanged her mom as soon as she gave birth), Flanders romances her way in and out of riches. And as the titular lady, ER’s Alex Kingston romances herself in and out of her clothing.
