Jean Rochefort is Antoine, a fifty-year-old man who has had a profound sexual attraction to hairdressers since childhood in the French comedy The Hairdresser's Husband (1990). One day he walks into a salon and proposes marriage to the owner, Mathilde (Anna Galiena), who accepts. To indulge his obsessions, Antoine hangs out in the salon all day watching Mathilde work, and sometimes drinking the shaving lotion. There’s no nudity, but we do get to see Anna run through the rain in a white top. Anyone need hair gel?
