The Mexican Amazon Prime Original Series La Cabeza de Joaquín Murrieta, or The Head of Joaquín Murrieta, tells the true story of the titular legendary miner and Robin Hood-esque criminal for a good cause, played here by Juan Manuel Bernal! Left for dead after he and his brother are falsely accused of stealing a mule, Joaquín seeks revenge on the men who wronged him, while simultaneously taking down any perceived fat cat in the name of righting injustices along the way. This puts quite a high price on his head, naturally, sending every opportunist with a gun in the country in search of this elusive outlaw, while the common people refuse to give him up!
