When cancer arrives to doom the woman’s young son, she is spurred to seek out extraordinary help, traveling to Poland in search of a man reputedly blessed with the power to heal with the touch of his hands. The mother’s pursuit and faith in the extraordinary brings out magical strengths that lay dormant within herself all along.
