After the Tate-LaBianca murders, teen heartthrob Troy Donahue thought it a wise career move to star in The Love Thrill Murders (1971), a quickie exploitation flick made to cash in on the notorious Manson murders. The story is basically about an orgy of nasty hippies on a killing spree, but like Charlie they enjoy sex with their bloodshed.
