Nude: The Magician of Lublin 1979 Nude Scenes

Based on Isaac Bashevis Singer’s book of the same name, this late 70s drama (put together by some big wigs in the Chicago theatre scene at the time) stars Alan Arkin as the titular turn-of-the-20th-century magician, Yasha Mazur. He’s trying to get gigs and make something if himself, but it seems he’s too busy hopping from bed to bed despite being married to a woman named Esther (Linda Bernstein). His lady roster includes Valerie Perrine as a prostitute named Zeftel; Maia Danziger as his unhinged assistant Magda; and Louise Fletcher as Emilia, an aristocratic widow who needs to find a new rich husband to help take care of her sick daughter Halina (Lisa Whelchel). When Zeftel tells Yasha she’s being flown by a man to Buenos Aires in America for a work opportunity, Yasha spots this as a human trafficking ploy and misses his big break to save her, but then discovers she had lied about the whole thing. We can understand not wanting to be parted from the voluptuous Valerie though. She shows off her legendary rack just over twelve minutes in while in bed with a very lucky Alan. Ophelia Shtruhl is also seen stripped down while sleeping in bed, and Shelley Winter’s left yabbo makes an unexpected appearance as well. But the MVP is Maia, who delivers the whole trifecta - boobs, but, and bush - in a moment that’s truly magical!
