This Argentinian dramedy tells the story of journalist José de Zer (Leonardo Sbaraglia), who worked for the entertainment department of a channel called News Daily back in the mid-1980s. During a random interview, José collapses after seeing a light in the sky, and while in the hospital he’s visited by Isadora Lopez Cortese and Pedro Echevarriaza. The duo convinces him to come to La Candelaria in Córdoba to investigate claims of alien sightings and bring tourism back to the city. With the help of his trusty cameraman Chango, José makes it his life’s mission to prove the existence of extra-terrestrials to the people of South America, to the point of lying and creating false evidence. The film kicks off in stunning fashion, with a bright shiny dance number featuring Mónica Ayos and a bunch of other babes with pasties covering their bare breasts.
