Not so Michael (Matt Whelan), the protagonist of The Most Fun You Can Have Dying (2012), who takes the money friends and family have raised for his treatment and runs off to Paris to spend his last days smoking, drinking and screwing as much as he possibly can. But his nihilistic bender is interrupted by Sylvie (Roxane Mesquida), an enigmatic French woman who gives Michael something to live for.
